After-Hours Care Policy for Non-Urgent Needs
For non-urgent or non-emergent care needed outside of our regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM), please be aware of our after-hours policy. Contacting our office after hours for non-urgent matters may incur a $25 after-hours fee, which is typically not covered by insurance. For prescription refills or other services requested after hours, a telemedicine appointment may be necessary. Partners in Women’s Healthcare will bill your insurance for telemedicine services, but patients are responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses as determined by their insurance plan. Please note, there is no charge for leaving a message to cancel appointments through our answering service outside of business hours.
Patient Mask Policy
To ensure the health and safety of all our patients and staff, we kindly request that patients who are feeling unwell but must keep their scheduled appointments wear a mask. This simple precaution helps prevent the spread of germs within our facilities. Masks will be readily available at the front desk should you require one. Furthermore, we are committed to your comfort and encourage you to inform our Front Desk Staff if you would prefer your healthcare provider to wear a mask during your consultation.
Exciting Updates to Obstetrical Care and Service Locations
Partners in Women’s Healthcare is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our Obstetrical care services. Effective March 1, 2025, all Obstetrical care will transition to the state-of-the-art Penn State Hampden Medical Center (PSHMC). While surgeries and gynecological care will continue to be provided at UPMC: Pinnacle and the West Shore Surgery Center, this strategic move to PSHMC for Obstetrical services underscores our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and leveraging advanced facilities for our expectant mothers. As the region’s only private OB/GYN practice, we believe this transition will further strengthen our dedication to your health and well-being. Scheduling Routine Gynecology Appointments
For your convenience, routine yearly gynecology appointments can be easily scheduled through your Patient Portal or by contacting our Central Scheduling Department. Please call (717)737-4511 and select option 2 for scheduling, available Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM. We appreciate your patience as we are currently experiencing a high call volume.
