Chicago, IL – Valor Equity Partners, a prominent private equity firm focused on growth investments, has announced the successful final closing of its latest fund, Valor Equity Partners V (“Fund V”), with total capital commitments reaching $1.7 billion. This significant milestone underscores investor confidence in Valor’s strategic approach and its proven track record of fostering growth in technology-enabled companies. The fund was substantially oversubscribed, exceeding its initial target and necessitating an increase in the hard cap. With the close of Fund V, Valor now manages approximately $7.3 billion in regulatory assets, sourced from a diverse base of global institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

Consistent with Valor’s previous growth fund strategies, Fund V will concentrate on making initial investments ranging from $25 million to $75 million. Critically, Valor retains the capacity for follow-on investments to support portfolio companies as they scale and expand their operations. This flexible approach allows Valor Equity Partners to be a supportive, long-term partner to its portfolio companies.
