She pursued her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature/Creative Writing at NYU, but her calling to medicine, sparked by her personal experience with asthma treatment advancements, led her to the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed her residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, solidifying her foundation in family medicine.
Her extensive career includes establishing a thriving practice in East Greenwich, RI in 2002, where she cared for patients across all ages in diverse settings including office, hospital, and nursing homes. Demonstrating her commitment to medical education, Dr. Manyan took on the role of program director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Kent Hospital in RI in 2008. Hood and Ottenstein.
Dr. Manyan integrates her teaching expertise into her patient care, emphasizing the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, and holistic wellness approaches.
