Kush Tulsidas serves as an Operating Partner at One Rock Capital Partners, where he channels his extensive expertise into enhancing sales and marketing strategies across the firm’s portfolio companies. His core mission is to pinpoint and cultivate growth opportunities within these companies, both during the initial investment phase and throughout One Rock Capital Partners’ ownership. Mr. Tulsidas is instrumental in boosting revenue generation and profitability post-acquisition.
With over two decades of experience, Mr. Tulsidas has a proven track record of building and transforming businesses within both large corporate structures and the dynamic private equity sector. Before joining One Rock Capital Partners, he spearheaded a successful consulting practice focused on accelerating growth for middle-market companies backed by private equity. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Operating Growth Executive at The Riverside Company. His career highlights include guiding numerous companies across diverse industries to refine their sales organizations and processes, implement and manage crucial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and achieve substantial revenue growth.
Prior to his roles in private equity and consulting, Mr. Tulsidas spent nine years at the Nielsen Company in various senior leadership roles spanning Sales, Consulting, and Process Improvement. His most recent position at Nielsen was Senior Vice President, Client Consulting, where he led a team dedicated to client service and retention, expanding client engagement, and securing new business opportunities within the media sector. His earlier experience includes roles at Cintas Corporation, where he contributed to their International Business and Six Sigma initiatives. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Tulsidas also founded and successfully exited Soondar Secrets, an organic beauty company. He began his professional journey in the audit function at KPMG.
Mr. Tulsidas holds a B.Com. in International Business and Information Systems from Curtin University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and possesses multiple certifications in Six Sigma, management, sales, negotiation, and various other professional trainings.
