This strategic shift positions Specialty1 Partners as the first and only partnership group offering a complete suite of business and operational services across the three major dental surgical specialties: endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics. Dr. Daryl Dudum, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Specialty1 Partners, emphasizes the unique doctor-centric approach, stating, “We’re also proud to be the only group that is both doctor-controlled and doctor-led within the specialty space.” This commitment to being “better,” not just “bigger,” underscores their dedication to providing enhanced resources and services to both existing and future partners.
The foundation for Specialty1 Partners was laid by the remarkable growth of Endo1 Partners. Starting with just eight locations, Endo1 Partners quickly expanded to include over 130 specialists from around 90 practices within its first two years. This success highlighted a significant need for specialized support within the broader dental surgical field. Recognizing this gap, founders Drs. Daryl Dudum, Matthew Haddad, Mark Haddad, and Darron Rishwain broadened their model to support a wider range of specialists.
Matthew Haddad, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, explains, “We first explored the affiliation model within our specialty of endodontics, and after finding there was also a gap in service for oral surgeons and periodontists, we decided to expand our service support offering to these specialties.” He attributes the company’s rapid growth to its unique structure and deep understanding of the specific needs of dental specialists.
This understanding has propelled Specialty1 Partners to become the largest and fastest-growing group focused exclusively on supporting dental surgical specialists. Within just six months, OS1 Partners and Perio1 Partners have collectively partnered with 40 locations. This rapid expansion brings the Specialty1 Partners network to over 200 specialists across more than 130 practices in 21 states.
Looking ahead, Specialty1 Partners anticipates continued growth, aiming to partner with over 150 new dental surgical specialists in 2022 and beyond. Each new partner will contribute to and benefit from a growing nationwide network of top-tier specialists, all working collaboratively to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
