Post Capital Partners Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Managing Director Appointments

Post Capital Partners, a prominent private equity firm dedicated to fostering growth in lower middle market businesses, proudly announces the promotion of Christopher Cheang and Isaac Chalal to Managing Directors. This strategic move recognizes their significant contributions to the firm’s success over the past two decades. Founded in 2004 by Mitch Davidson and Michael Pfeffer, Post Capital Partners operates with a clear vision: to collaborate with exceptional CEOs and propel compelling companies to new heights. The firm is currently deploying capital from its fourth committed fund and has recently forged a partnership with Goldratt Consulting, emphasizing its commitment to operationally complex investments.

Christopher Cheang’s journey with Post Capital Partners began in 2009, and he has since become an invaluable asset. His expertise spans across various critical functions, including deal execution, portfolio company management, investment and executive sourcing, fund administration, and investor relations. Cheang’s leadership now extends to spearheading the firm’s business development initiatives, alongside his role as Chief Compliance Officer. His prior experience includes a significant management role at Cabot China Limited, a joint venture of Cabot Corporation, and an early career in investment banking at Adams Harkness. He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Isaac Chalal, a key member of Post Capital Partners since 2018, has demonstrated exceptional skill in leading the evaluation, execution, and growth of complex, high-value investments. Before joining the firm, Chalal served as CFO of PicoBrew, a consumer electronics startup, and held a Vice President position at Aterian Investment Partners. His investment career began at LLR Partners. Chalal earned both his BS and MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
