Kristin’s role as Director of Strategic Initiatives is vital for PICS’s growth and effectiveness as Partners In Community Supports. Her experience, starting from managing Consumer Directed Community Support (CDCS) programs, showcases her deep understanding of community needs. She highlights her five-year journey at PICS, progressing from Program Manager for Consumer Directed Community Support (CDCS) Support Planning services to Senior Program Manager, and then to her current leadership position in 2021.
She was drawn to LSS/PICS because of its long-standing presence and positive impact on Minnesota communities. This aligns with her personal vision of neighborly support and community empowerment. Kristin emphasizes that LSS/PICS’s mission to support individuals in maintaining their independence within their homes and communities resonates deeply with her values as a Minnesotan wanting to help her neighbors.
