Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC (“Odyssey”), a prominent private equity firm focused on the middle-market, has announced the successful closing of its latest fund, Odyssey Investment Partners Fund VI, LP (“Fund VI”). The fund reached its hard cap, closing at $3.25 billion, and was significantly oversubscribed, demonstrating strong investor confidence in Odyssey’s strategy and team. This successful fundraise saw substantial increased commitments from existing investors alongside the addition of several new institutional investors.
This milestone marks a significant chapter for Odyssey Investment Partners, reinforcing its position as a leading player in the private equity space. Fund VI will continue Odyssey’s established strategy of pursuing control-oriented investments and management buyouts in established middle-market companies.
The leadership of Odyssey Investment Partners remains consistent, with Senior Managing Principals Brian Kwait (CEO), William Hopkins (Vice Chairman), and Stephen Berger (Chairman) continuing to lead the firm. In a move to further strengthen its leadership ranks, Jeffrey McKibben and Craig Staub have been promoted to Senior Managing Principal. Additionally, Jason Cowett, Jonathan Place, and Jeff Moffett have been named Managing Principal, joining existing Managing Principals Rob Aikman, Doug Hitchner, Dennis Moore, and Brian Zaumeyer. The senior investment team boasts an impressive average of 16 years of investment experience at Odyssey Investment Partners, highlighting the depth of expertise within the firm.
