Nye Partners in Women’s Health is committed to providing exceptional care for women. To ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of our patients, we are implementing several important updates to our practice. These changes involve adjustments to office hours, obstetrical services, and Medicare participation.
Office Hour Adjustments at Nye Partners in Women’s Health
We’re modifying our office hours to optimize appointment availability and convenience for our patients.
- Michigan Avenue Location: Our Michigan Avenue office will now operate Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This location will be closed on Fridays. This change is effective immediately.
- River Forest Location: Our River Forest office will maintain its current schedule, operating Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Extended hours at this location will be announced soon.
- Michigan Avenue Office Closure: Please note that effective December 11, 2025, our Michigan Avenue office will permanently close due to the building’s conversion to residential use. All patients will be welcomed at our River Forest office after this date.
Changes to Obstetrical Care at Nye Partners
As of December 31, 2025, Nye Partners in Women’s Health will no longer be providing delivery services.
- Acceptance of New Obstetric Patients: We will accept new obstetric patients whose last menstrual period (LMP) is on or before March 25, 2025.
- Care for Patients with LMP After March 25, 2025: We can provide care for patients whose LMP is after March 25, 2025, up to 20 weeks gestation. This includes comprehensive new OB testing, confirmation of due date, necessary lab work and counseling, and ultrasounds (viability, nuchal translucency, and structural survey). After 20 weeks, we will facilitate a smooth transition to another provider to ensure continued care throughout your pregnancy.
Continued Commitment to Gynecological Services
While obstetrical services are being adjusted, Nye Partners remains dedicated to providing comprehensive gynecological care. Our services include:
- Well Woman Visits and Preventative Care
- Pap Smears, HPV Testing, and Education
- DySIS Advanced Cervical Colposcopy
- Gynecological Surgery, including Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Procedures
- Gynecological Cancer Detection and Treatment
- Gynecological Ultrasound
- LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedures)
- Family Planning and Contraception
- Sonata Fibroid Treatment
- Pelvic Floor Therapy
Medicare Opt-Out at Nye Partners in Women’s Health
Beginning June 1, 2025, Nye Partners in Women’s Health will opt out of Medicare.
- Self-Pay for Medicare Patients: We will continue to see patients with Medicare insurance, but visits will be self-pay. We will not be able to submit claims to Medicare.
- Cost Estimates: We will provide estimated costs for scheduled services in advance to help you plan accordingly.
