Since 2017, Natural Dental Partners has been the vision of Dr. Ingo Mahn, a dedicated holistic dentist with over 40 years of experience. Prior to establishing Natural Dental Partners in Phoenix, AZ, Dr. Mahn founded Integrative Dental Solutions in Wisconsin back in 1989. His passion lies in creating a dental environment where patients feel truly heard and receive dental care that enhances both their oral and overall health. Dr. Mahn values the unique insights he gains from each patient, making every interaction a learning opportunity.
Dr. Mahn’s Path to Holistic Dentistry
From a young age, Dr. Mahn was drawn to dentistry because it beautifully merged the precision of science with the creativity of art. Growing up, he admired his grandfather, an engraver, model maker, and artist, while his father excelled as an engineer. Dentistry appeared to be the perfect intersection of these two worlds. As the field evolved, Dr. Mahn recognized the immense potential for a fulfilling and dynamic career focused on patient-centered care, leading him to embrace holistic approaches within dentistry.
Expertise and Education at Natural Dental Partners
Dr. Mahn’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his extensive education and continuous learning. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1985. Furthering his expertise in integrative medicine, he obtained a Doctor of Integrative Medicine from Capitol University in Georgetown in 2004. His doctoral thesis, “The Science and Sense Behind Biological Dentistry,” received the prestigious President’s Research Award, highlighting his early dedication to biological and holistic dental practices. Dr. Mahn consistently exceeds 150 hours of continuing education annually, learning from leading dental professionals, including those at the renowned Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, which inspired his move to Arizona.
Dr. Mahn holds esteemed accreditations and memberships, including with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), where he is an accredited member, board member, and Chairman of the Ozone Committee. He is also a proud member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM), the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and numerous other respected organizations, underscoring his commitment to holistic and biological dentistry.
Beyond Natural Dental Partners
Originally from Southern Germany, Dr. Mahn moved to Milwaukee at the age of 12. He and his wife, Pamela, have been happily married since 2004 and are the parents of two children, Jack and Sofia, and their Miniature Poodle, Baby Bear. While establishing Natural Dental Partners has been a significant focus, Dr. Mahn remains an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys bow hunting, fishing on Lake Pleasant, spending time on the water, and traveling with his family, finding balance between his professional dedication and personal passions.
