Your Role at MVE + Partners Inc.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be at the heart of our visual communication efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing High-Impact Visuals: Conceptualize and create high-quality designs for a variety of marketing materials, including digital campaigns, presentations, proposals, brochures, exhibit graphics, and branded collateral.
- Collaborating on Creative Strategy: Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing and Architectural Design teams to brainstorm and refine layouts, graphics, and visual narratives that align with our brand identity and project objectives.
- Elevating Design Standards: Provide your expertise and mentorship to both teams, contributing to the overall quality and effectiveness of our visual communications.
- Ensuring Brand Consistency: Maintain rigorous quality control to guarantee accuracy and consistency across all marketing and design materials, upholding the firm’s brand identity.
- Managing and Updating Content: Create, edit, and update content across various platforms, including marketing materials, digital channels, and internal/external communications.
- Supporting Client Projects: Deliver professional graphic design services for client-billable projects, ensuring alignment with specific project goals and client expectations.
- Staying Ahead of Design Trends: Conduct ongoing research into design trends, industry best practices, and project-specific requirements to continuously enhance our creative output.
- Organizing and Maintaining Design Assets: Contribute to and maintain an organized archive of images, graphics, photos, and past design work for efficient future use.
What We Look For in a Graphic Design Partner
MVE + Partners Inc. seeks a proactive and creative individual who possesses:
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Creative Problem-Solving Skills: Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving abilities with a sharp eye for design principles, including typography, composition, and branding.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of three years of graphic design experience, ideally within a professional service, architecture, or built environment firm.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
- Organizational Prowess: Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- (Bonus) Motion Graphics & Video Skills: Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and animation using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
- (Bonus) Social Media Savvy: Experience in managing daily social media content creation and scheduling across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok is highly valued.
