As a Graphic Designer at MVE + Partners, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling visual narratives that communicate our firm’s vision and expertise across various platforms. Working under the guidance of our Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality designs for marketing campaigns, presentations, proposals, and a wide array of branded materials. Your Role at MVE + Partners: Crafting Visual Excellence
In this exciting role, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing impactful visual content: Create high-caliber designs, concepts, and visual solutions tailored for digital marketing campaigns, client presentations, project proposals, brochures, and exhibit graphics. Your designs will be key in showcasing the MVE + Partners brand and our project successes.
- Collaborating on creative strategy: Work hand-in-hand with both Marketing and Architectural Design teams to brainstorm and refine layouts, graphics, and visual narratives. This collaborative approach ensures alignment with brand guidelines and specific project objectives, enhancing the overall impact of our visual communications.
- Providing design leadership: Offer your expertise, feedback, and mentorship to both Marketing and Architectural Design teams. Your insights will be invaluable in elevating the quality and effectiveness of our visual communication strategies across the board at MVE + Partners.
- Maintaining brand consistency and quality: Ensure all marketing and design materials meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency, reinforcing the strong brand identity of MVE + Partners.
- Creating and managing content: Develop, edit, and update content across a variety of marketing materials, digital platforms, and both internal and external communication channels, maintaining a consistent and engaging message.
- Delivering billable design services: Provide top-tier graphic design services for client-requested projects, ensuring these projects align seamlessly with client objectives and MVE + Partners‘ standards of excellence.
- Staying ahead of design trends: Conduct ongoing research into current design trends, industry benchmarks, and specific project requirements to continuously innovate and enhance our creative outputs.
- Managing design assets: Maintain and contribute to a well-organized archive of images, graphics, photos, and past design work, ensuring these resources are readily available for future projects and references within MVE + Partners.
What We Look For: Your Skills and Expertise
To excel in this role at MVE + Partners, you should bring:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Creative and Conceptual Skills: Exceptional conceptual and creative problem-solving abilities, complemented by a sharp eye for design aesthetics, typography, composition, and effective branding principles.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of three years of hands-on graphic design experience, ideally within a professional service environment, architecture, or the built environment sector.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate design concepts to both creative professionals and non-design stakeholders.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational capabilities, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- (Bonus) Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and animation using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is highly advantageous and considered a significant plus.
- (Bonus) Social Media Savvy: Skills in managing daily social media content creation, including writing, editing, and scheduling posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, are beneficial.
