Pre-Employment Requirements at MHP

Joining Major Health Partners involves a comprehensive pre-employment process designed to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. This process includes several important steps:

Vaccination and Immunization

To protect our patients and healthcare team, annual influenza vaccination is mandatory for all new hires. Additionally, proof of immunity or vaccination is required for Rubella, Rubeola, and Varicella. Major Health Partners also offers Hepatitis A and B vaccinations to new staff members. A two-step Tuberculin skin test is also a standard requirement. Providing existing records can expedite this process, otherwise, titers will be drawn and vaccinations provided at no cost.

Background Checks

Major Health Partners is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Therefore, we conduct thorough background checks on all potential employees, including checks of Criminal History, Medicare Fraud databases, and License/Certification verifications. Job offers may be rescinded if any background check reveals unfavorable information.

Drug Testing

As part of our commitment to patient safety and a drug-free workplace, final candidates, including rehires, are required to undergo an initial alcohol/drug screen. A positive test result will disqualify an applicant from employment at Major Health Partners. This policy applies to all positions, whether full-time, part-time, or casual.
