Delta Air Lines is extending its Global Corporate Priority benefits program to LATAM Airlines, a move set to significantly improve the travel experience for corporate clients. This expansion underscores Delta’s dedication to providing top-tier service and benefits to its corporate travelers on a global scale.
Building upon its history as the first U.S. global airline to offer aligned benefits for corporate customers—starting with Air France and KLM in 2018, followed by Aeromexico and Virgin Atlantic in 2019—Delta continues to lead in creating seamless and enhanced travel experiences for business professionals.
Corporate passengers flying with Delta and LATAM between South America and the U.S. will now receive exclusive benefits on their travel days, designed to streamline their journey:
-
Priority Boarding: Corporate travelers will benefit from priority boarding, aligned with each airline’s specific boarding procedures.
-
Denied Boarding Prioritization: In situations where a flight is overbooked, corporate travelers will receive priority if involuntary denied boarding becomes necessary.
-
Downgrade Prioritization: Should a situation arise where not all ticketed passengers can be accommodated in their purchased cabin, corporate travelers will be prioritized over non-business travelers with comparable status.
-
Priority Service Recovery: Corporate travelers will be given priority during flight rebooking and seat assignment processes when loyalty status and booking class are similar, ensuring quicker resolution and minimal disruption.
This expanded Global Corporate Priority benefits program evolves from Delta’s initial Corporate Priority program launched in 2014. This program is a direct result of feedback from numerous Delta customers and joint corporate clients, and it has been continuously refined to meet the changing demands of today’s business travel landscape.
“We are excited to broaden our Global Corporate Priority benefits to include LATAM Airlines, delivering even greater value and convenience to our corporate customers,” stated Luciano Macagno, Delta’s Managing Director for Latin America, the Caribbean, and South Florida. “This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to providing superior service and benefits to our business travelers, ensuring they enjoy the most optimal travel experience possible.”
These new benefits are being rolled out on LATAM flights starting this month, providing corporate travelers with even more compelling reasons to choose Delta and its partners for their travel needs.
