Before establishing Irradiant Partners, Levitt held the position of chief executive officer at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., from 2016 to 2021. This tenure as CEO followed his service as vice chairman at Apollo Global Management, LLC, where he was a key partner in both private equity and credit divisions. His career trajectory showcases a consistent rise in responsibility and strategic oversight, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
A significant milestone in Levitt’s career was founding Stone Tower Capital LLC in 2001. As chairman, CEO, and CIO of Stone Tower, he successfully grew the company into a substantial entity managing $17 billion in credit-focused alternative investments. This entrepreneurial success culminated in Apollo’s acquisition of Stone Tower in 2012, further cementing Levitt’s reputation as a capable and visionary leader in the investment world. Earlier in his career, Levitt was a partner at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated, a private equity firm, where his investment focus was on media and consumer sectors.
