Ideal Partners, a prominent commercial and residential services group, has announced the relocation of its headquarters to the well-known former Frank Kent Cadillac building on the Benbrook Traffic Circle. This move marks a significant step in the company’s growth and strengthens its presence in the Fort Worth area.
The newly acquired facility, encompassing approximately six acres and a 60,000-square foot building, offers Ideal Partners a spacious and strategically located base of operations. This location, while only about a mile from their previous headquarters, provides enhanced visibility and accessibility. “We had always been looking at this building,” stated Kortney Paul, owner of Ideal Partners. “It might not fit everybody, but it would fit us. We wanted to stay on this side of town. It’s easy access to the highways and great visibility on the circle.” The increased office space within the building is designed to accommodate the company’s ongoing expansion and future growth initiatives.

The building itself holds a notable history within the Fort Worth community. Originally constructed by Frank Kent, a pioneer in Tarrant County’s automotive industry, it served as a Cadillac dealership from 1984. For many decades prior, Kent’s operations were based in downtown Fort Worth. The Benbrook Traffic Circle property has remained under the Kent family’s ownership and was recently utilized as an auto body shop before Ideal Partners acquired it. Ideal Partners finalized the property purchase last summer and successfully completed the move in within two weeks. Paul commended his employees for their dedication and efficiency during the relocation process, highlighting their commitment to ensuring seamless operations. Currently, Ideal Partners employs around 125 individuals, providing a range of essential services to the community.
Ideal Partners’ journey began in 2010 with a focus on pest control services, drawing inspiration from Paul’s grandfather, James I. Moore, who operated Ideal Pest Control in previous decades. While the name pays homage to his grandfather’s business, there is no direct operational connection between the two. Over the past decade, Ideal Partners has broadened its service portfolio to become a comprehensive commercial and residential services group. Their offerings now include fire protection, security solutions, concrete services, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) expertise, demonstrating significant diversification and growth beyond their initial pest control foundation.
Paul reflects on his grandfather’s potential reaction to the company’s current scale: “He would have been quite proud or said, ‘Man, you’re crazy.’” Before embarking on his entrepreneurial path, Paul was a dedicated baseball player. Following in the footsteps of his father, Ronnie Paul, a former TCU baseball star and New York Mets player, Kortney Paul played college baseball at Arkansas and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. After several seasons in minor league baseball, Paul transitioned into the business world, bringing the discipline and strategic thinking honed in athletics to his entrepreneurial ventures.
To complement his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas, Paul earned an MBA from TCU, further solidifying his business acumen. He humorously describes his transition to entrepreneurship: “I joke around and say that I became an entrepreneur because I was a good salesman and a bad employee… I felt like I just needed more formal education.” Now, Kortney Paul is leading Ideal Partners into a new chapter, establishing a strong foundation for continued success from their prominent new location on the Benbrook Traffic Circle.
