I am Dr. [Physician’s Last Name], a board-certified Infectious Disease physician with over a decade of experience specializing in adult infectious diseases and HIV care. Since 2011, I have been committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in the Tarrant County area and beyond. Originally from Chicago (yes, a Bulls fan!), my journey in medicine has taken me across continents, starting with medical school at Kempegowda Institute in Bangalore, India, before returning to the United States for residency at the State University of New York. It was during this time that my fascination with microbiology blossomed into a passion for infectious diseases, driven by the sheer diversity of conditions and a recognized need for specialists in community settings. This led me to complete my fellowship in Infectious Disease at the State University of New York at Stonybrook, officially launching my career in this vital field.
Serving the vibrant communities within the greater Tarrant County area, particularly Mansfield and Midlothian, is a privilege. This region, known for its warm, generous people and tightly-knit neighborhoods, has become the perfect place to establish ID Partners and build lasting relationships with my patients. The local support has been truly invaluable, and I am deeply grateful to be part of this thriving community.
Beyond my role at ID Partners, I also hold several significant positions within the medical community. I am currently the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, contributing to hospital-wide initiatives to enhance patient safety and optimize antibiotic use. Previously, I served as Chair of Medicine and Chief of the Medical Staff, further demonstrating my commitment to leadership and excellence in healthcare administration. Moreover, I have been leading the Division of Infectious Disease at Methodist Mansfield since 2010, shaping the direction of infectious disease care within the hospital system.
Outside of my professional life at ID Partners and the hospital, I cherish spending quality time with my husband, Aaryan, and our two wonderful children, Chane and Ishana. We are avid food enthusiasts and love exploring new restaurants and diverse cuisines. Travel is another passion, and we are currently on a mission to experience the cultural richness of Europe. To maintain a healthy balance, I am also dedicated to weight training and am actively pursuing powerlifting goals.
