Dr. Kelsey Sherman, a board-certified family medicine physician at Green Mountain Partners For Health, is passionate about providing comprehensive and individualized primary care. Dr. Sherman’s practice welcomes individuals from all walks of life, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, women, and those seeking support with weight loss.
Dr. Sherman’s dedication to general primary care stems from her belief in the importance of quality time with patients. She possesses a deep commitment to women’s and LGBTQ+ health, with specialized expertise in several areas. These include perimenopause/menopause hormone therapy, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), weight loss/obesity medicine, gender-affirming care, and sexual health.
Beyond consultations, Dr. Sherman offers a range of in-office procedures such as pap smears, IUD and Nexplanon insertion, as well as skin procedures like biopsies and mole removals. Her comprehensive approach ensures patients receive convenient and thorough care.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Sherman is also an active member of prestigious medical organizations. These memberships include The Menopause Society (formerly the North American Menopause Society or NAMS), The Obesity Medical Association (OMA), and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). A graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, she was recognized for her compassionate patient care and leadership by being nominated to the Gold Humanism Honor Society by her peers. Dr. Sherman completed her residency training in family medicine at St. Anthony North Hospital in the Denver area, further solidifying her commitment to serving the local community.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Sherman enjoys spending quality time with her partner, Will, and their two dogs, Stella and Morty. She maintains an active lifestyle through hiking, skiing, acroyoga, and weight training. She also pursues interests in DIY home projects and healthy cooking.
