Originally hailing from New Jersey, Dr. Dubin’s academic journey began at the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies, followed by the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. His commitment to rigorous training led him to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where he completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Further solidifying his specialization, Dr. Dubin undertook advanced fellowship training in Rhinology and Sinus Surgery at the renowned Georgia Nasal and Sinus Institute in Savannah, Georgia. This pivotal year was spent under the mentorship of Frederick A. Kuhn, M.D., FACS, FARS, a global authority and pioneer in endoscopic sinus surgery. During this fellowship, Dr. Dubin was involved in groundbreaking advancements, including participation in the first U.S. clinical trial for Balloon Sinuplasty, a minimally invasive technique revolutionizing sinus care.

Following his advanced training in minimally invasive endoscopic approaches for nasal and sinus conditions, Dr. Dubin was recruited by Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He served as a sinus specialist within the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, practicing full-time until 2006. His contributions to Johns Hopkins continued as he held a part-time faculty appointment as Assistant Professor until March 2020. During this time, he increasingly focused on leading the Centers for Advanced ENT Care, demonstrating his commitment to broader ENT service delivery.

In 2006, Dr. Dubin transitioned to Ear Nose and Throat Associates at GBMC, where he remains a practicing physician. This practice became part of the Centers for Advanced ENT Care in 2017, the largest ENT service provider in the mid-Atlantic region. Dr. Dubin’s leadership is further highlighted by his role as Managing Partner of the Centers for Advanced ENT Care, LLC, which in 2023 became a crucial operating unit of ENT Specialty Partners. Beyond his practice, Dr. Dubin is the Co-Director of the Minimally Invasive Pituitary and Skull Base Center at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
