After your initial visit as a new patient, you will have the opportunity to schedule appointments with any of our primary care providers. Please be aware that Dr. Gomez-Bramble and Dr. Hur are not currently accepting new Medicare patients.
Primary Care Providers for Patients Aged 16 and Over:
- Ages 16 and over: Dr. Teresa Gomez-Bramble, MD, and Dr. Alice Hur, Doctor of Nursing Practice.
- Ages 16-21: Dr. Faith Frankel, MD.
- Dr. Douglas Frankel, MD is available for appointments once you are established as a patient. While he is not currently taking new patient appointments and his schedule is often booked in advance, our team of providers ensures you receive timely and comprehensive care.
Important Records Policy for New Patients:
Welcome to Capital Medical Partners! To ensure we can provide you with the best possible care from your very first visit, it is crucial that we receive your medical records at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Appointments may be cancelled if records are not received in time. Please proactively confirm with our office that your records have been received. We kindly request you to ask your previous healthcare provider to fax your records to (301) 217-9224 after your appointment is booked. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to text or call us.
Virtual Nutritional Counseling for New Patients (Ages 6 and Over):
For patients interested in virtual nutritional counseling, Capital Medical Partners currently accepts the following insurance plans:

Card-on-File for Your Convenience
To streamline your checkout process and make your visits more efficient, Capital Medical Partners encourages patients to keep a credit card on file. This service eliminates paper statements from our practice, while you will continue to receive Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements from your insurance carrier detailing charges and payments.
How our Card-on-File System Works:
At Check-In:
- We will securely scan your preferred credit card, including Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.
After Insurance Processing:
- You will receive an email notification regarding any balance owed after your insurance has processed the claim.
- The outstanding balance will be securely charged to your card on file.
- A receipt for the charge will be emailed to you for your records.
Your credit card information is protected with the highest security standards by our PCI-DSS compliant, off-site payment processing partner, Elavon. Your card details are never stored on our computers, ensuring your financial security.
