Strategic Partner Appointments Elevate Leadership at Blue Wolf Capital Partners

Blue Wolf Capital Partners has officially appointed Eve Mongiardo, Shashank Patel, and Rick Winegar to the esteemed position of Partner. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the firm’s success.

Eve Mongiardo, who joined Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2022, has been promoted to Partner while retaining her roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, and Managing Director. In her capacity, she expertly manages all financial operations, encompassing investor reporting, investment and tax structuring, fund management, valuations, and cash flow optimization.

Prior to her tenure at Blue Wolf Capital Partners, Ms. Mongiardo leveraged her extensive financial acumen to provide strategic consulting services through her own advisory firm. Her distinguished career includes 12 years as a Partner at Irving Place Capital, and prior to that, she served as CFO at Soros Private Funds Management. Her foundational experience includes a four-year tenure in auditing at Deloitte. Ms. Mongiardo is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business, solidifying her deep expertise in financial management within the private equity landscape.

Shashank Patel has been a pivotal figure at Blue Wolf Capital Partners since joining as a Principal in 2020. His promotion to Partner recognizes his leadership in the firm’s healthcare sector investments, with a focus on medical device and pharmaceutical services companies. His portfolio includes notable investments in CIVCO Radiotherapy and Qfix (now CQ Medical), and the establishment of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing platform in Europe. Mr. Patel’s prior experience includes roles at Apax Partners, Providence Equity, and Madison Dearborn Partners. His history with Blue Wolf Capital Partners dates back to 2011 when he first joined as a Senior Associate, concentrating on industrial sector investments. He began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions investment banking group at Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup Global Markets). Mr. Patel holds a B.A. and M.S. in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, showcasing his strong analytical and business acumen.

Rick Winegar‘s promotion to Partner is a testament to his long-standing and impactful collaboration with Blue Wolf Capital Partners. He began working with the firm in 2011, formally joining in 2012, initially as an Operating Partner, then Lead Operating Partner, and most recently as COO. He is the architect behind Blue Wolf Capital Partners’ acclaimed Operating Partner Program and Portfolio Programs, including ESG initiatives, and has been instrumental in developing many of the firm’s core operational playbooks. Currently, he oversees Blue Wolf Capital Partners’ internal operations and continues to spearhead ESG and portfolio programming.

Mr. Winegar brings over 30 years of diverse experience across the healthcare and industrial sectors. His previous roles include senior positions at Capgemini Consulting and Tunnell Consulting, where he advised both corporate and private equity clients. Earlier in his career, he held operational leadership roles at American Cyanamid, a global chemicals producer, and served as an engineer at Chevron USA. Mr. Winegar earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.B.A. from Columbia University, providing him with a robust foundation in both engineering and business strategy.

  • Jared Isenstein to Principal: Since joining Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2017 and serving as Vice President since 2022, Isenstein has focused on key healthcare sector investments, including FOX Rehabilitation and RHA Health Services. His prior experience includes roles in Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Isenstein holds a B.A. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.
  • Blake Montag to Director of Portfolio Analytics: Montag joined Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2023, previously holding a Senior Manager position in PwC’s Deal Analytics practice. He holds a B.A. in Accounting and an M.P.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
  • Trent Holbrook to Vice President: Holbrook joined Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2022, following roles as an Associate at Eden Capital and an Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at Citi. He earned a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Jimmy Lewis to Senior Fund Accountant: Lewis joined Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2023, after serving as a Senior Associate in the Financial Services group at RSM. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from James Madison University.
  • Hannah Braun to Investor Relations Associate: Braun joined Blue Wolf Capital Partners in 2022 and has been an Investor Relations Analyst since 2024. Her previous experience includes work at Clearlake Capital Group. Ms. Braun received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
