Over the past two decades, Mr. Ludlow has cultivated a distinguished career centered around the acquisition, expansion, and strategic management of a diverse portfolio of both public and private enterprises. His extensive experience encompasses over 15 significant transactions within the last decade alone, underscoring his deep involvement in the financial and operational aspects of business growth.

Currently, Mr. Ludlow stands as a founder of Baymark Partners, a firm strategically focused on investments within the service-based and technology middle-market sectors. This venture leverages his profound understanding of these industries and his aptitude for identifying and nurturing companies with substantial growth potential. Prior to establishing Baymark Partners, Mr. Ludlow held pivotal roles at Transition Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm boasting over 25 investments across various service-oriented businesses. During his tenure there, he served as Director, General Counsel, and Chief Financial Officer, gaining comprehensive experience in the private equity landscape. His background extends beyond private equity to include senior leadership positions in both large and small public companies, complemented by a foundation in M&A, corporate, and securities law practice within a reputed law firm.

Notably, Mr. Ludlow’s experience includes his role as Vice President at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a Fortune 500 company with a $6.5 billion valuation in the business process and information technology outsourcing industry. At ACS, he was instrumental in integrating newly acquired entities, driving internal business improvement initiatives, negotiating intricate contracts with Fortune 100 clients, and ensuring legal and accounting compliance. This multifaceted role highlights his ability to manage complex operations within a large-scale corporate environment.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Ludlow honed his expertise in M&A, corporate, and securities law at Hallett & Perrin, P.C. Here, he represented a diverse clientele of publicly-traded and privately-held businesses in various capital market activities, including public offerings of equity and debt, private equity placements, venture capital, and leveraged financing. His legal practice also involved representing businesses in mergers and acquisitions, negotiating deals for assets and securities, demonstrating his proficiency in transactional law. His foundational experience also includes holding several accounting and finance positions at Dallas Semiconductor Corporation, a $350M manufacturing company, culminating in his appointment as Manufacturing Controller.

Mr. Ludlow’s academic credentials include a Juris Doctor (JD) from Southern Methodist University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and holds the distinction of being a Certified Public Accountant, further solidifying his professional expertise and credibility in both legal and financial domains.
