Greg Baroni to Lead LUFC into New Era
Greg Baroni, CEO of Attain Partners and Principal General Partner of Attain Sports & Entertainment, will serve as LUFC’s Principal Owner and represent the club on the USL Board of Governors. Baroni expressed his enthusiasm for soccer and commitment to enhancing the fan experience and community engagement. This acquisition adds to Attain Sports & Entertainment’s existing portfolio, which includes the Bowie Baysox, the Frederick Keys, and a soon-to-be-named Atlantic League baseball team. Baroni’s leadership in the Northern Virginia Technology Council further strengthens Attain’s ties to the region.
2023 Season and Beyond for Loudoun United FC
LUFC’s 2023 season kicked off with an away game against Memphis 901 FC on March 11th, followed by a home opener against defending USL Championship title holders San Antonio FC on March 19th at Segra Field.
