Partners in Women’s Health providers collaborate with Penn State Health to improve community maternity services at Hampden Medical Center's Women and Babies Center.
Penn State Health has announced a collaboration with Partners in Women’s Healthcare (PIWH), set to enhance maternity care services for families within the community. This partnership will enable PIWH’s team of physicians and certified nurse-midwives to deliver babies at the Women and Babies Center located within Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, commencing on March 1.
This exciting venture brings together the expertise of Partners in Women’s Healthcare with the advanced facilities of Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. Kyle Snyder, president of Hampden Medical Center, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome the esteemed physicians and nurse-midwives from Partners in Women’s Healthcare, along with their patients, to Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. Our Women and Babies Center is deeply committed to delivering exceptional and compassionate care. Through this collaboration, families in the region will benefit from an enriched range of maternity care choices. Obstetricians from PIWH, including notable figures such as Dr. Robert delRosario, Dr. Rose Eskin, and Dr. Amanda Powell, will be attending deliveries at the Women and Babies Center. Complementing their expertise, certified nurse-midwives Elaine Greene, Brianna Latovich, Mariana Tristao-Green, and Lauren Vazquez will also be providing care within this modern facility.

The Women and Babies Center at Hampden Medical Center is meticulously designed to offer a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for mothers and their families. It boasts spacious private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, dedicated labor and delivery suites, operating rooms for cesarean births, and specialized rooms for both antepartum and postpartum care. The center also includes a Level II Special Care Nursery and provides a celebratory meal for new mothers and their chosen support person. Furthermore, the center offers the convenience of free parking for all visitors.
Partners in Women’s Healthcare serves the community from two locations in Harrisburg and Lemoyne, ensuring accessible and comprehensive women’s health services.
