Dr. Rose’s dedication to the field led her to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Louisville. She further specialized in both adult and pediatric allergic and immunologic diseases during her prestigious Allergy & Immunology fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans. Throughout her residency and fellowship, Dr. Rose engaged in significant research, focusing on the relationship between breastfeeding and peanut allergies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This research demonstrates her proactive approach to understanding and addressing allergic conditions from their earliest stages.
Prior to joining Allergy Partners SLO, Dr. Rose served as an Allergist/Immunologist at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, providing crucial care to veterans. In 2015, she made the move to the Central Coast of California, drawn to San Luis Obispo County by her husband’s roots in the area and the opportunity to expand the reach of Allergy Partners. Dr. Rose is enthusiastic about addressing the diverse needs of patients with allergic and immunologic diseases in this community.
Beyond her professional dedication, Dr. Rose embraces an active and family-oriented lifestyle in San Luis Obispo. She enjoys running, hiking, golfing, and traveling, cherishing time spent with her husband and two young daughters, as well as friends. This well-rounded approach enriches her patient interactions, fostering a caring and relatable environment at Allergy Partners SLO. Dr. Kelli M.
