The seamless execution of the Pacific Partners Air Festival was the result of months of meticulous planning and preparation by both U.S. and JASDF service members stationed at Misawa. Maj. Tyson Daw, 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron director of operations and air show project officer, emphasized the crucial role of their Japanese counterparts in the coordination efforts. “Our Koku-Jieitai partners played a pivotal role in the coordination; working closely with them strengthened our understanding of one another’s operations,” Maj.
