Reinforcing its commitment to investing in top-tier talent and further developing its expanding software platform, RF Investment Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Collin Abert as Managing Director and Zach Friedman as Vice President. Additionally, Max Rothstein and Luke Chandra have joined the firm as Associates, further strengthening the team’s capabilities.

Collin Abert, based in Chicago, joins RF Investment Partners as Managing Director and will spearhead sourcing investment opportunities, evaluating and structuring new transactions, and collaborating closely with RF’s management team partners to facilitate business expansion. Prior to joining RF Investment Partners, Abert held the position of Principal at Lake Capital, where he focused on investment origination and assessment, transaction structuring, leading due diligence processes, and partnering with portfolio companies. His background also includes experience in the investment banking division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Abert holds a B.S. in Accountancy with a concentration in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Zach Friedman assumes the role of Vice President in RF Investment Partners’ New York office, bringing substantial expertise in the technology sector. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting investment due diligence, and actively monitoring portfolio companies. Previously, Friedman served as Vice President at TriplePoint Capital, where he was involved in underwriting and structuring credit transactions for technology businesses. Prior to TriplePoint, he was with Level Equity, overseeing all stages of the investment process for software and technology enterprises. He began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Jefferies and holds a B.A. in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas.

Max Rothstein, operating from the Chicago office as an Associate, is tasked with evaluating new investment prospects, performing investment due diligence, and monitoring portfolio companies. He transitioned to RF Investment Partners from Balmoral Advisors, where he served as an Associate. Rothstein’s career commenced as a commercial banking Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Ohio State University.

Luke Chandra joins RF Investment Partners in New York as an Associate and is responsible for assessing new investment opportunities, conducting investment due diligence, and monitoring portfolio companies. Before joining RF Investment Partners, Chandra completed a summer analyst internship with Lincoln International and subsequently became a full-time investment banking Analyst. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Business Law.
