HealthPartners Expands Apple Valley Clinic to Enhance Patient Care Services

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – HealthPartners is reinforcing its commitment to the Apple Valley community by breaking ground on a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical and dental clinic. This significant development, announced on Thursday, June 15th, marks a major upgrade from the current location, situated less than three miles away. The new facility is designed to offer an expanded range of healthcare services, bringing greater convenience and comprehensive care to residents. Patients will now benefit from on-site allergy services, eye care, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, and ophthalmology, all within a single, easily accessible location.

“For over four decades, HealthPartners has been a proud healthcare provider in Apple Valley,” stated Leslie Dockan, Vice President of Primary Care at HealthPartners. “This new clinic represents our ongoing dedication to this community and our proactive approach to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our patients. By consolidating and expanding our services under one roof, we are making it easier than ever for Apple Valley residents to access the high-quality, affordable care they deserve.” This expansion directly addresses the growing demand for integrated healthcare services in the region, ensuring that patients can manage more of their healthcare needs in a familiar and trusted environment.

The new HealthPartners Apple Valley clinic, located at 15350 English Avenue, will be a substantial 56,776 square feet, nearly double the size of the existing facility. This significant increase in space will not only accommodate the new service lines but also enhance the capacity of existing popular services. Patients can continue to rely on HealthPartners for family medicine, pediatrics, radiology, cardiology, laboratory services, urgent care, OB-GYN, and dental care, all within this expanded and improved setting. The larger facility is intentionally designed to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and create a more comfortable and welcoming healthcare experience for everyone.

This $29 million investment in the Apple Valley community is part of a broader strategy by HealthPartners and Park Nicollet to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the south metro area. This initiative also includes the development of a new clinic in Lakeville and a specialty center in Burnsville, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to improving primary and specialty care access across the region. The Apple Valley clinic project is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2024, promising a significant boost to local healthcare services in the near future.
