His commitment to advancing the renewable energy sector is further demonstrated through his board memberships. Walsh is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and previously served as its Board Treasurer. He was responsible for managing a substantial $20 billion global portfolio of energy investments, encompassing portfolio sales and strategic reinvestments. Furthermore, from 2007 to 2011, he directed energy venture investing for GE-EFS, showcasing his versatility and depth of experience within the energy finance domain. Walsh’s journey with GE began in 1990 when he joined GE Structured Finance, the predecessor to GE-EFS Financial Services, where he progressively held leadership roles across Energy, Capital Markets, and GE Industrial sectors.

Academically, Kevin Walsh graduated cum laude from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Business Management degree.
