The Core Knowledge Foundation (CKF), a nationally recognized leader in knowledge-based education, has announced the appointment of Beth Battle Anderson as its new President & CEO. Effective July 7, 2025, Beth Anderson will succeed Linda Bevilacqua, who has served CKF for 17 years. This transition marks a significant moment for the foundation as it continues to champion knowledge-rich curricula across the United States.
Beth Anderson brings a wealth of experience in K-12 education and non-profit strategy to her new role. Her expertise in curriculum development, educational equity, and scaling programs will be invaluable as CKF seeks to broaden its impact and strengthen partnerships nationwide. Her leadership is expected to build upon the strong foundation laid by Linda Bevilacqua, ensuring CKF’s continued growth and influence in the education sector. Linda Bevilacqua’s tenure is celebrated for deepening CKF’s impact and expanding the reach of its high-quality educational resources. Prior to joining the Core Knowledge Foundation, Beth Anderson served as Executive Director of Hill Learning Center for a decade. During her time there, she spearheaded the expansion of research-based literacy interventions and teacher training programs, extending their reach to educators and schools both nationally and internationally. Earlier in her career, Beth held leadership positions at Teach For America, where she played a key role in securing over $300 million in funding and fostering national education partnerships. Furthermore, Beth co-founded Duke University’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE), demonstrating her commitment to the intersection of education, research, and social impact. She remains actively involved with CASE as a member of the advisory board.
Beth Anderson’s commitment to education extends beyond these roles. She is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and serves on the boards of Great Schools NC and the NC State Education Assistance Authority.
