Longwell Partners, Inc. Launches as a Full-Service Communications Firm in Washington D.C.

Washington, D.C. – December 3, 2019 – Sarah Longwell, a well-known figure in political strategy and communications, has announced the establishment of Longwell Partners, Inc. (LPI), a new full-service communications firm located in Washington, D.C. This venture marks a significant step for Longwell, formerly a Partner and Senior Vice President at Berman and Company, as she brings her expertise to lead a dedicated team focused on navigating today’s complex political and policy landscape.

Joining Longwell in this endeavor are seasoned professionals Barry Rubin, Carson Putnam, Chris Herbert, and Ben Parker, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities. Notably, Jonathan V. Last, Executive Editor of The Bulwark, also joins the team, adding a unique perspective and depth of experience.

Sarah Longwell’s commitment to reasoned discourse and effective communication is further underscored by her role as Co-Founder, alongside Bill Kristol, of Defending Democracy Together. She also serves as spokeswoman for their prominent project, Republicans for the Rule of Law. Beyond this, Longwell is Publisher of The Bulwark and Chief Strategist for Republic Affairs (formerly Defending Democracy Together Institute), a nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding core American values and institutions.
