A significant milestone in Brent Given’s distinguished career is his foundational role in establishing The Bank of San Antonio in 2007. His strategic vision and operational expertise were pivotal in scaling the bank from its initial $25 million in assets to its current stature as Texas Partners Bank. This transformation followed the strategic merger in 2020 of The Bank of San Antonio, The Bank of Austin, and Texas Hill Country Bank, uniting them under a single bank charter. This powerful consolidation propelled Texas Partners Bank to exceed $2.27 billion in assets by 2024, marking a period of substantial growth and strengthened market presence within the Texas financial landscape.

Prior to his current executive position at Texas Partners Bank, Brent Given held the position of Senior Vice President at a prominent regional bank holding company. In this capacity, he also served as Chief Operating Officer for their San Antonio operations, demonstrating his capability to manage complex operations and drive efficiency. Furthermore, he directed their commercial banking group, showcasing his expertise in this critical banking area. Brent’s career began with a foundational experience as an examiner with the Texas Savings and Loan Department, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and financial oversight from the outset.

Brent Given’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), underscoring his profound understanding of financial principles and practices relevant to Texas Partners Bank and its clients. Beyond his professional achievements in banking, Brent is deeply committed to community service. His extensive involvement includes serving as Chapter Chair of the Young President’s Organization San Antonio, Chair of the American Heart Association Heart Walk, and Board Member of the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
