The deadline for paper submissions is March 31, 2025. Each submitted paper must include a comprehensive abstract, summarizing the research issue, methodology, and findings within a 500-word limit. All submissions will undergo a thorough review by members of The Brandes Center. Winning entries will be carefully selected by a judging panel comprising members of The Brandes Center Advisory Board, Executive Committee, and/or Faculty Council.
Compensation for Winning Papers: The Brandes Center is committed to recognizing excellence in value investing research. Two winning papers will be awarded – one from a professor or professors and one from a graduate or post-graduate student. These winning entries will share a total award pool of $25,000. The specific split of the prize money will be determined by the judges, with a minimum prize of $5,000 and a maximum of $20,000 for either winner. This generous prize money is sponsored by Brandes Investment Partners, L.P., underscoring their commitment to fostering research and education in value investing.
