Community Partners Dallas serves as a vital bridge, connecting individuals who care deeply about children with opportunities to make a tangible difference. Founded in 1989 as a dedicated nonprofit, we were created to bolster the efforts of Child Protective Services (CPS) in Dallas County. Over the years, we have grown into a strong network of compassionate individuals, businesses, and organizations, collectively addressing the urgent needs of over 20,000 abused and neglected children annually. Community Partners remains unique as the primary nonprofit in Dallas County focused specifically on these critical needs. Our effective programs have also served as a model, being replicated in more than 155 cities throughout Texas.

Every day, we are committed to providing children with the immediate necessities that are crucial for their initial steps toward healing. Simple provisions can have a profound impact on a child recovering from abuse and neglect. Whether it’s a car seat ensuring safe transportation, a comfortable bed in a secure home, or experiencing their first joyful holiday celebration in years, these acts of care send a powerful message of hope and open doors to recovery. By meeting these fundamental and personalized needs, we communicate that someone genuinely cares.

Equally central to our mission is strengthening the capacity of CPS caseworkers. The stability of these dedicated professionals is directly linked to positive outcomes for children. Reducing caseworker turnover significantly increases the likelihood of children finding safe and nurturing permanent homes. Supporting caseworkers in their demanding and crucial work is not only the right thing to do but is also essential for fostering healing within our community’s most vulnerable population.

Join Community Partners Dallas in our vision to empower children to overcome the adversities of abuse and neglect. Discover how you can get involved today and help us make a lasting difference.
